The children have settled back really well into school and it has been a pleasure to hear all their tales and adventures and to observe how they are now so much more able to listen to others, wait their turn and share information together.
This week we have launched into a topic on mini beasts and the children have been working on their exploring and investigation skills through experiments and other challenging activities.
We are beginning to focus in on pre writing and early maths skills and giving the children opportunities to practice and consolidate skills. This is something we will be working on more intensely in the next few weeks.
The children have continued their dance and movement sessions with Urban Motion.
We also celebrated a ‘big’ birthday in school this week!
