This week we have begun our new topics of New life and nature. The children are enjoying learning about the farm and naming the different animals and their babies.
There is great interest in the frogspawn which we were kindly given and the children are looking forward to watching it change into frogs!!!!
The children are really fascinated with the work going on in the playground and we have been watching the machines working and looking at the different tracks made on the ground. There have been some lovely paintings and drawings of the diggers and dumpsters.
A lot of focus during Eco week has been on the environment and what we can do to help look after our world. The children are learning not to waste water, to recycle waste and reuse bags/ bottles. Even walking to school helps reduce our carbon footprint.
We had great fun today on our trip to Toddler Sense. The children all enjoyed the variety of activities on offer especially playing with the huge ball as you can see in the photographs.
