The children are all really enjoying the topic of mini beasts. We have been exploring and investigating how they move etc and encouraging the children to look outside with magnifying glasses. If you are outside with your child perhaps you can talk them about what they find or see. In class we have focused on bumble bees talking about where they live and what they make for us to eat ( we even had some with our snack today! )
In school we are continuing to work on developing our tripod grip with pencils and exploring mark making and writing patterns. The children are enjoying taking part in scissor club cutting activities as we practice our cutting skills.
I have sent home the cress seeds we planted last week for you to watch them continue growing and perhaps try tasting.
