We have had a very busy time in school this week and the children have been learning a lot of new things. We are really enjoying getting to know all the children and they have settled well into the school routines.
They have had great fun exploring the Red, Green and Blue outdoor play zones which each offer something different to learning outdoors. Everyone has now drawn, painted or printed a “first picture” and as you will see we have some budding artists. Lots of sandcastles have been built and some block towers are as tall as the builders.
Today was the first time we all had snack and it was very popular. The children are learning to all sit at the table together and finish eating before we tidy up, putting rubbish and plates/cups in the correct containers.
Next week will be a big change for everyone as the groups all join together as a class and stay longer from 8.50-11.30am. Some may find this difficult and they will be tired after school.
Please remember not to send any school bags in as they are not needed and can get mixed up when all the children are in together now.
