We have had so many learning experiences this week and lots of visitors in school! On Monday, we did our safe walking with the PSNI and they were very impressed with how well we understood how to stay safe when out on the road. We also welcomed Jack to our class and the boys and girls have been great at making him feel welcome. On Tuesday, we celebrated pancake day and despite an impromptu fire drill we had a great time! The children enjoyed trying different toppings and even had a go at flipping the pan. On Wednesday, nurse Lyn came to visit us and the boys and girls learnt how to apply bandages and make Percy the pig feel better. On Friday we all went to ‘ scissor club’ to get some more practice at using scissors.
We are also practising careful listening by playing, ‘ do this, do that’ which the children are loving!
We finished off the week we some relaxation at the beauty salon and Mrs Fitzpatrick has been helping the children to stretch and relax.
