As we enter November, our themes of day and night and space have taken off and the classroom has become a busy space adventure.
we have learnt about the planet earth and found where we live on the globe we have also looked at the moon and saw how astronauts travel in space.
we are learning the language of in front/ behind/ beside/ under and over as well as understanding and developing a sense of beat and tempo.
Our gross motor skills development is focusing on balancing and jumping/ landing safely.
We ended the week with a fireworks theme to celebrate the 5th November and the children enjoyed lots of firework sensory play to develop their fine motor skills.
